FORLÌ IGP

FORLÌ IGP The FORLI’ IGP was established in 1995 and is reserved for the following wines: whites, even in the types lively and sparkling; red, also in the types lively, sparkling and Novello; rosé, also in the type lively and sparkling.
The grapes must come from vineyards suitable for cultivation in the region of Emilia Romagna, entered in the National Register of vine varieties for wine grapes and comprise one of the following grape varieties: Bombino Bianco, Chardonnay, Garganega, Muscat Blanc, Müller Thurgau, Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Manzoni Bianco, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Riesling Italico, Sauvignon, Trebbiano Romagnolo and Trebbiano Toscano; Ancellotta, Barbera, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Dog, Centesimino, ciliegiolo, Fortana, Marzemino, Merlot, Montù, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Syrah, Terrano and Longanesi grapes (reserved for wines made from grapes grown in winery area for at least 85%).
Other grapes can be used to produce the wine: are allowed grapes of the same color, non-aromatic, suitable for cultivation in the region Emilia-Romagna, up to a maximum of 15%.
