BRISIGHELLA PDO
The cultivation of olive trees in the valley of the Lamone and Tramazzo dates back to Roman times, around the second century. A.D. as documented by the discovery of an old mill family in the excavations of the Parish of Tho Brisighella.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil POD of Brisighella are harvested in the territory of the Municipality of Modigliana in the Province of Forlì and Cesena and in the Province of Ravenna in the Municipalities of Brisighella, Faenza, Riolo Terme and Casola Valsenio.
In the product specification is determined that the cultivar
Nostrana di Brisighella should not be present in quantities less than 90%.
The olive harvest is by hand and the delivery, in small boxes, occurs at expiration day.
The oil produced has an emerald green with golden hues, smells of artichoke and olive fruit. The taste is quite spicy with a medium-intense bitter taste.
It is great matched with fish dishes and eaten raw on salads, bruschetta, soups and to flavor meats.
