Homepage The writer Alessandro Baricco once wrote: “Romagna is like a storybook, wherever you stop to ask for directions they’ll tell you the story of their life...”. Trought the Forlì-Cesena Route there are one hundred businesses that welcome tourists with the friendliness and warmth typical of Romagna, offering quality facilities and services: wineries, holiday farms, country hotels and B&Bs, restaurants and inns, producers of unique and tasty typical products, and associations that promote the culture of this territory. A territory which is so alive...that it tells its story, in the same way as the products of the land and table do: wines such as the Sangiovese di Romagna and Passito d’Albana which represent the clamorous and successful return of the local wine-making sector; unique cheeses: “fossa” cheese from Sogliano (matured in pits), Squaquerone and Raviggiolo (fresh cheeses); extra-virgin olive oil from Castrocaro-Terra del Sole and the hills surrounding Cesena; cakes and jams made from traditional recipes; tasty beef and pork from the Mora Romagnola breed; the legendary and  much loved piadina and the local pasta which is the real “typical dish of Romagna”, such as cappelletti, passatelli and ravioli. Pasta dishes which were first collected in a book by Pellegrino Artusi: Forlimpopoli, and the whole of Romagna, have dedicated Casa Artusi to him, a versatile and modern temple of home cooking.
