ROMAGNA'S CHICKEN
Race widespread in the area that included the part of Emilia Romagna and the provinces of Ravenna , Forlì - Cesena , Rimini and Bologna . Skeleton and fine boned , has a single comb Medium size, straight for the cock and folded in the hen , of intense red color , fine texture without the presence of granules . The wattles are developed , mumps oval , small , light cream color , smooth , sometimes shaded blue species in young subjects . The shanks ranging from pure yellow to yellow spotted, greenish and the totally dark which is the favorite . The livery is varied as shown in the photos of the era, but it can be assumed the mantle were common silver- gray " silver flakes blacks " red gold " gold flakes blacks " , and white partridge . The skin color varies but is mostly white .
